The eldest of 3 children of Ross Peters and Alcine Oakes, Harrison Peters, the fifth cousin on the father's side of Nigel Horne, was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 19 Mar 1921 and was married to Jean Berry (with whom he had 4 children: Gale, John, Judith and Ruth Esther) in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on 30 Jan 1943.

He died on 13 Dec 2010 in Winchester, Ontario, Canada.

Harrison Peters in his 90th year of South Mountain. Beloved husband of Jean M. Peters. Loving Dad of Gail Brooks (Martin), Ruth Lee (Edward), John and predeceased by daughter Judith Loyer (Brian). Cherished Grandpa of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother ofDelbert, Blanche, Jean and predeceased by Linn and Ellis. By family request Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In memory of Harrison donations may be made to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital.
