Nov 1899 in Thanet, Kent)10. He had 4 children, all with Emma Culmer: Charles Percy, Albert John, Edith Eliza and James Frederick.
During his life, he was living at Stodmarsh Street, Stodmarsh, Kent in 1861 and on 7 Apr 1861; at Nethergone, Chislet, Kent on 2 Apr 1871; at Wayborough, Minster, Thanet, Kent on 3 Apr 1881; in Upstreet, Kent on 5 Apr 1891 when he was living with his son Charles Percy following the death of his wife on 7 May 1889 with his parents ; at 2 Woodchurch Farm Cottages, Acol, Kent on 31 Mar 1901; at Woodchurch Farm, Acol, Kent on 2 Apr 1911 with his parents  and at 7 Pouces Cottages, Manston, Kent on 29 Sep 1939.
