Biography

The child of James Jordan (a horse keeper) and Julia Culmer, Christopher Jordan, the second cousin twice-removed on the mother's side of Nigel Horne, was born in Faversham, Kent, England on 18 Feb 18911 and and married Elizabeth Moore (with whom he had 1 child, Chris Edouard) in New Zealand in 19163.

During his life, he was living at Mill Place, Faversham on 5 Apr 1891[5] and on 31 Mar 1901[6] and at 20 Hutchinson Avenue, New Lynn, Auckland, New Zealand in 1928[4].

He died on 23 Nov 1965 in Auckland, Auckland2 and is buried there at Waikumete Cemetery. In 1937, he travelled from Honolulu, Hawaii, USA to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, departing on 14 Jul and arriving later that same year. He served in the military on 17 Jul 1917 (service Number: WW1 76452).
