A bricklayers labourer and the child of Isaac Stuple and Ann Mount, Thomas Stupple, the third times great-uncle of Nigel Horne, was born in Herne Bay, Kent, England c. 18311,2,3, was baptized in Herne, Kent, England on Jun 12, 1831 and married Ann Gammon (a charwoman with whom he had 7 children: Jesse G, Caroline, Elizabeth, Nellie, Emma Jane, James S and Edward) at Christ Church, Herne Bay on Jun 5, 18655.

During his life, he was living in Vessels, Royal Navy, England in 18611; at Nursery Gardens, Herne in 18812 and on Apr 3, 18816.

He died c. Nov 1899 in Blean, Kent, England3,4.
