Surviving are the husband, Garry; five children, Charles and Burton Harris, Robert Bixler, Mrs. Alice McKinley and Mrs. Blossom Walsh, and four stepchildren, Chester, Clayton, Glenn and Vincent LeMay, all of Fort Wayne; 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and three brothers, William and John Bixler, both of Fort Wayne, and Ike Bixler of Spencer. The body was taken to the Louis Berhalter & Son funeral home in Kendallville and will be returned to the residence here late this afternoon. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence here and 2:30 o'clock at the Wesleyan Methodist church, Rev. Edward Smithee officiating. Burial will be in the Bower cemetery near New Haven) and was buried at Bowers Cemetery, New Haven, Indiana on 15 Nov 1943.
