A senior boat pilot and the 3rd of 4 children of Henry Peters and Elizabeth Cook, Albert Peters, the third cousin twice-removed on the father's side of Nigel Horne, was born in New Brunswick, Canada on 4 Nov 18651,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and married Mary Hogan (with whom he had 2 children: Albert Ernest and Margaret Selina) in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada on 12 Sep 189610.

During his life, he was living at Richibucto, Kent, New Brunswick in 1871[1] and in 1881[2]; in New Westminster on 22 Apr 1891[3], in 1901[4] and in 1911[5]; and at 511 Ninth Street, British Columbia on 1 Jun 1921[6].

He died on 4 Feb 1926 in New Westminster7,8 and is buried there at Fraser Cemetery8.
