Biography

A miller and the child of Henry Peters and Rowena Atkinson, Frederick Peters, the second cousin three-times-removed on the father's side of Nigel Horne, was born at Richibucto, Kent, New Brunswick, Canada on 22 Mar 18481,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10, was baptised there on 1 May 1849 and married Celia Colpitts (with whom he had 5 children: Thomas A, Robert, Roy Arthur, Lilly Victoria and Frederick Stanley) on 3 Nov 1875.

During his life, he was living in Kings, New Brunswick, Canada in 1851[1]; at his birthplace in 1861[2] and in 1871[10]; in Kent, New Brunswick in 1881[3]; and at his birthplace in 1891 with his mother Rowena Noble Charlotte[4], in 1901 with his mother Rowena Noble Charlotte[5], in 1911[11] and on 1 Jun 1921[7].

He died on 16 Feb 1940 at Rexton, Kent, New Brunswick9 and was buried at Richibucto Protestant Cemetery, Richibucto, Kent, New Brunswick on 18 Feb 19409.
